James Blake has just surprised us with a brand new ambient album. This latest body of work is titled Wind Down, a collaboration with the app Endel, which uses sound and music to promote wellness .

For this release, James Blake lets his production talents shine. He creates 15 different soundscapes for us to step inside of, designed to relieve stress and boost productivity. Each one is as calming as the next, with different gentle, atmospheric melodies. This is the perfect kind of music to put on while you work, while you’re napping, or if you just need to relax.

Speaking on the project, this is what James Blake had to say: "The Wind Down soundscape I created with Endel lets me explore the more ambient side of my music and create a project to support people in a new way,” James Blake reflects. “It’s mesmerizing to hear how my music blends with the science-based sounds of Endel’s AI and I think we’ve invented something not just beautiful or even meaningful, but truly practical.
